Where are we going this Summer 2018? Field trips of “Somewhere in Time”
Are you ready for Summer 2018? When it comes down to finding the right Summer Camp 2018 for your children, you wonder if they are going to have fun, be safe, and learn something new, correct? It’s quite a challenge finding a camp that meets all those criterias.
However, Legacy Academy has a solution for you! This year, we have a 10-week program called “Somewhere in Time,” served to highlight lessons of Science, Music, Art, History, and much more. We understand how busy summertime gets, between family visits and vacations, we created a program that allows parents to choose which weeks they want their children to engage.
Now here is a sneak peek of the places we will be taking them to visit:
1. Sci-Tech Discovery Center in Frisco
The Sci-Tech Discovery Center allows hands-on discovery experience for its visitors in essential areas of math, science, and technology for all ages.

2. Breitling Performing Arts
A non-profit dedicated to providing theater, film, dance and music opportunity for children of all ages. Our children will participate in one production, where they will gain confidence and create lasting friendships.

3. Bowling at Strikz
Let’s go back to the 80’s and enjoy the same activities that children our age enjoyed back then at Strikz with Bowling!

4. Aquatic Center in the city of Allen
Enjoy the fun part of summer in the sun at one of the funnest pools in the North Texas area.

5. Celebration-Circus at the Plaza Theatre in Garland
A circus to bring laughter and entertainment to one of the best activities to attend with family.
6. Jungle Joe’s in Frisco
A fun and safe playground for children of all ages along with a Cafe for parents to enjoy while their children are having fun!

7. Gametruck
A second time coming to Legacy Academy for Children, the famous Game Truck where people can play and socialize with one another by playing the latest games. This serves for our children to brainstorm how will the video game industry change in the future!

8. Bricks 4 Kidz
Using the famous Lego Bricks that every children loves, Bricks 4 Kidz works towards pushing the children’s imagination!
